We are a set of 9 Queen’s Counsel and 29 Junior Barristers specialising in landlord and tenant and real property law. Members of Chambers provide top-level advisory and litigation services, in England and Wales and abroad. Over the years, members of Chambers have been involved in many of the leading cases in its area of expertise which are set out on individual members’
Chambers is also responsible for a number of significant textbooks, including (amongst others) Woodfall on Landlord and Tenant, and `Dilapidations – The Modern Law and Practice’ and many other topics.
Former members of Chambers include the President of the Supreme Court (Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury), Lord Justice Lewison, Mr Justice Morgan, and the Deputy President of the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) (Martin Rodger QC).
Current members of Chambers include four Deputy High Court Judges, three Recorders, two District Judges, four Judges of the First-Tier Tribunal (Land Registration), the Chairman of the Chancery Bar Association, as well as members of a number of professional organisations, including the Chancery Bar Association, the Property Bar Association, the London Common Law and Commercial Bar Association, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Four members of Chambers are honorary members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
